Crochet Sunflower Granny Square Strap PDF PATTERN (Bag, Camera, Binocular strap etc.) | Intermediate

This is a pattern for a crochet strap using mini sunflower granny squares! 

There are two strap attachment options available so that you can either use your strap more traditionally with a bag, or so it can specifically be used for a camera/binoculars. Both methods will be shown.

This pattern also includes a fabric lining section that demonstrates how to line your straps and how to add interfacing to offer more structure. The lining section is shown with the use of a sewing machine, but it can be hand sewn as well - I give tips on how to do that!

With visual learners in mind, I have included very detailed instructions and many photos throughout the steps! I have classified this pattern to be at an intermediate level though I think an advanced beginner could give it a try due to the added use of visuals :).

Pattern is written in US terms (English) - You should know the following stitches for this pattern: 

• chain
• slip stitch
• single crochet
• half double crochet
• double crochet
  

I use embroidery floss to create the strap with a small crochet hook. Please note that working with the thinner thread + smaller hook if you haven’t done so before can certainly pose its challenges and take some getting use to!

DIMENSIONS:

• Bag Strap - Approx. Length: 33" (with swivel clasps) x Width: 2.25”
• Camera/Binocular Strap -  Crochet strap part is approx. Length: 31” x Width: 2.25” (length is adjustable with the webbing)
